6 Months and We're not slowing down!

Well, it has been awhile since I've been on here. AJ is taking up most of my time. . . and I picked up a job too. :( However, they understand that I'm first a mommy then an employee. I only work nights and weekends since we have no sitter and it wouldn't be cost effective.

Adrian has learned so much since May. He can officially roll front to back and back to front, sit with support, hold his bottle, and wiggle around the living room floor. He's on the edge of learning to walk. It's crazy how fast he's growing! Everyone still claims he's looking more and more like Rob. lol. If he does, then he'll have my personality. :) I just love playing with him. He's on the floor a lot so he can get to crawling. Aspen would play with him to. However, we just had to put her down cause she was having kidney failure. Her red blood cells weren't producing so on Monday July 18, we sent our beloved baby girl to heaven to watch over us. :'(

Any-who, We haven't really baby proofed this place cause we're moving soon. So we figured the new place we'll be starting fresh. I will post some pictures and videos showing the past 3 months. I feel like I haven't had time to breath! Now is the time to catch some fresh air. lol. G'night.

The Chick Magnet - AJ Bean

Well, nothing new and exciting has happened these few weeks. AJ has been growing and eating more, but that is about it. However, every time we go out, some lady or whatever has to make an effort to see AJ. It could be someone walking by, a sales associate, and even little kids! Everyone loves to see an infant/baby. . .

I think my favorite moment of someone looking at him is when we were eating at Wendy's and this little girl came up to see AJ. The looked at each other for a few seconds and she said "Baby has pretty eyes" and of course AJ proceeds with a big smile. . . I almost had a happy tear. lol. It was one of the cutest moments in my life.

I just joined the Mary Kay family and its been great so far. I had gone in to meet my director at Starbucks before actually signing up and throughout the 2 hour "interview" we had about 3 people come up and want to look at AJ. He was covered up so they made an effort to talk to us so they could see him. lol. And of course they all say: "They sure grow fast!" lol. :) I've noticed. :( I wish time wouldn't go by so quickly.

Anywho, I thought I'd update on the little fun things in life. I wish I could access the blog through my iPhone. . . but I haven't had a chance to figure it out yet. . . :)

Busy weekend.

Well, as you may have read, yesterday I received my first professional massage. Today we all went to visit our cousins in Colorado Springs. It was their first time meeting AJ. He did very well. I feel like he was a bit crabbier than normal today, but I think it was just the time flying by. I had to hold him when he was hungry or tired cause you know. . . mommy knows best ;) lol

Gas prices are up to $3.54/gal. which is a killer on my explorer. Blah! I did, however, save $.10 a gallon cause of my King Soopers card. I wish fuel prices would go down this summer so we can enjoy a bit. I hope we can go to Texas to visit the family. Frontier Airlines runs some great deals on the web so I've been keeping an eye out. . . What was once a $300-$500 flight has now been $150. . . At least for our destination location.

Few more hours til I get to sleep. Gotta wait for AJ to do his midnight feeding before I sleep. Might be up til 2am. . . I feel bad cause I did not wake up last night to feed him. Rob did all the work for me. I swear I got real lucky with Rob. Like I've said before. . . He may be a butt-head but he takes care of us and loves us so much. Didn't know there were still nice guys in the world.

My First Massage

Rob gave me a two $25 gift cards for Christmas and I just came about using them. Erica and I went to Massage Envy to get, well, a massage. It was the best experience Ever! It almost felt like the knots were fading as the lady worked on them. There was a point where I swear it felt like the blood was flowing in my body again. I feel so relaxed and comfortable at the moment. I wish I could just sleep the rest of the night but Rob is mad at me for enrolling for a monthly massage. :| I felt like it was a sweet deal. $39 for a member vs the $69 for a non-member. It deducts monthly but you don't lose it if you don't get to go that same month. I suppose its like roll-over massages. :)

After the massage, we went to Yutaka sushi. Rob didn't join us cause he was kinda upset I didn't talk to him about the membership. :( Sorry Rob. The waiter that recognizes us (well, me) was talking to Erica and me. He's never talked to me/us for other than service. Erica must look like an approachable person. :P Anywho, sushi was yummy as usual and Erica enjoyed her first visit to Yutaka.

AJ spent the day with daddy. As far as I'm hearing, he's doing the same as he does everyday. He smiles, giggles, and when he's hungry or poopy, he cries. I still find it "uh-mazing" when he smiles and giggles. It just makes life so much better. :) Hopefully he'll sleep through the night and allow mommy to relax since Tia Erica is sleeping in his room and he's sleeping in ours.

Catching up!

Well, the guy I was talking about in the first blog is the daddy and the love of my life. He may drive me nuts but I hear thats the "hubby" thing to do.

We found out I was pregnant June 11, 2010 and I had a lot of mixed emotions. I was more happy than anything and we both had been talking about our future family. . . We just didn't think it would happen so soon.

The 9 months were crazy! I was always tired and sick. Morning-sickness doesn't only happen in the morning. I was lucky to have it all 9 months. :\ During my 36th week, I was told I had pre-eclampsia and had to have the baby ASAP. I was scheduled to be induced the 26th. . That same day, I had an appointment to meet the Pediatrition. Right before we were going to tour the place, my water broke and I ended up in the hospital 2 hours before I was supposed to. About 8 hours later at 2:15am, Adrian James was born.

It seems like yesterday he was born! He will be 3 months soon and he's started smiling and giggling about 2 weeks ago. at his first photo shoot (which was taken at 3 weeks) he smiled. I think it was a "I have gas" smile. He's been smiling a lot more when we talk to him and play with him. He's also been wiggling a lot more. He turned out to be a kicker in his sleep just like his momma. I will probably add the adventures I've written down. (there have been 3) I hope I can keep up with this on a daily bases.

Today I spent the day cleaning. AJ has been chillin' on his bouncer watching TV and Rob has been at the shop trying to fix the Jeep. The past few days AJ has been smiling and giggling lately and has made me so happy. Every day is a new adventure with him. He may cry a lot on some days, but it makes me laugh cause he's so dramatic when there nothing to be so fussy about. :)
